A simple Addams Family-inspired makeup mod
Wednesday Addams Inspired Makeup Variations is a free game utility that lets you apply makeup looks inspired by the popular Addams Family character, Wednesday Addams, onto your Hogwarts Legacy character. These makeup looks include the iconic smokey eyeshadow and black lipstick typically associated with one of the horror-comedy franchise’s main protagonists.
Similar to other mods like 3D Lashes version 2 mod for The Sims 4, Wednesday Addams Inspired Makeup Variations does not affect gameplay or the plotline. These mods simply grant players the ability to stylize their characters in a way that matches their personal style preferences.
Try out new looks
As the name suggests, Wednesday Addams Inspired Makeup Variations allows users to choose from different makeup looks inspired by the titular character of Wednesday. Players can choose between two different eye looks and two distinct lipstick colors so you have the freedom to mix and match as you please. You can also opt to choose not to add lipstick to your character and focus on the eyeshadow, instead.
Something users should keep in mind, however, is that you will need to install each file for each makeup variation individually. Attempting to install all the mod files at the same time can lead to issues when attempting to run the mod, which will leave you unable to apply any changes to your character. Each makeup variation also has three files to install, so this process can be quite time-consuming.
Unfortunately, the mod can only be used for characters with skin tones within the range of 1 to 5. This means that darker-skinned characters won’t be able to make use of the mod, which leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to inclusivity. The game doesn’t allow you to change your skin tone after the initial customization process, either.
Not very inclusive
Although Wednesday Addams Inspired Makeup Variations is a promising game utility that fans of both Hogwarts Legacy and the Addams Family franchise can greatly appreciate, it doesn’t offer too many opportunities for players with darker characters to make use of it. Moreover, the lengthy installation process can make it quite frustrating to deal with, especially since you’ll have to install a large number of files one at a time.
